Titus 2 Ministry
Titus 2 is a new women’s ministry which will be kicking off in March. Girls and women from 15-115 will be placed in small groups which will meet once a month. The vision for this ministry is to build strong ties & relationships with women of different ages and in different seasons and circumstances in life, for the purpose of nurturing, encouraging and helping to equip one another to lead lives that will glorify God. The goal is that these relationships will result in families, marriages and the body of Christ being “rooted and established in love.” (Ephesians 3:17)
Sign- ups will begin at the Women’s Retreat, March 2nd & 3rd. You can also sign up via the response card in the bulletin beginning March 11th.
Men’s Breakfast & Missions Trip Training
Saturday, March 10, at 8am is the next Men’s Breakfast. Following the men’s breakfast, there will be a missions trip training time. You will receive training on electrical work, plumbing and drywalling. We will be working on a number of different projects around the church. Lunch will be served. If you’ve never been able to go on a missions trip, this day will give you a chance to experience what it is like. Please indicate interest on the response card in the bulletin so we can plan the work to be done.
Radical Sermon Series
For six weeks beginning February 19th in our worship, we will ponder what it means to live for God, to be a follower of Jesus. Talk is cheap and anyone can make a claim about themselves. Anyone can say, “I’m a scratch golfer or I can hang with cooks in a kitchen or I can leap tall buildings with a single bound or… I’m a Christian.” But what does that mean in our lives in real time? You are encouraged to ponder these things with us over the next six weeks and the book Radical will push you as you reflect. The point is not to agree with everything the author says. The point is to allow yourself to be challenged. In worship on March 25th, we will try to flesh out our reflections as we ask ourselves, “Lord, where is your Spirit moving me now?”
Pastor John and Pastor Chip will lead facilitated discussions about the sermon series on Wednesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 14 from 7:00-8:30pm.

R12 Dare to Experience True Spirituality Being a genuine disciple of Christ flows out of a relationship with Him. It’s about experiencing God’s grace, not earning His love through performance. A real relationship with Jesus Christ will produce a follower whose life looks progressively more like His life. Romans 12 provides a relational profile of an authentic disciple: someone who is surrendered to God, separate from the world’s values, sober in self-assessment, serving in love and supernaturally responds to evil with good. Christians who live out this kind of lifestyle are what we call r12 Christians. Please join us for this 10 week DVD/Discussion bible study on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm in Middle School Room 134.
Body Life Sunday, Febraury 5th
Our church elders have discussed the value of bringing all our people – children, youth, and adults – together for worship. We believe it is important for children and teenagers to join in corporate worship at times so they see themselves as part of our larger church body. When we bring our church together like this it will be called “Body Life”. Our first Body Life worship will happen Sunday, February 5. Service times will be at 9:30 & 11am as normal. Kids 1st grade – Youth students will be part of worship. Nursery – Kindergarten will meet as normal.
