Body Life Sunday, February 5th

Our church elders have discussed the value of bringing all our people – children, youth, and adults – together for worship. We believe it is important for children and teenagers to join in corporate worship at times so they see themselves as part of our larger church body. When we bring our church together like this it will be called “Body Life”. Our first Body Life worship will happen Sunday, February 5. Service times will be at 9:30 & 11am as normal. Kids 1st grade – Youth students will be part of worship. Nursery – Kindergarten will meet as normal.

Ladies’ Spring Retreat

7pm March 2nd – 3pm March 3rd

This amazing retreat gives us time to share life together as Sisters in Christ. We will hear amazing teaching from nationally renowned speaker, Erin Campbell. She will share with us how we radiate God’s beauty when we look to Him. We will discover how we are equipped to share as Jesus did with our unique gifts and callings. We look forward to having you join us in this weekend of exceptional fellowship, refreshment, teaching and worship. Overnight rates vary from $50-$90 depending on number of women per room, and there is a Saturday only option for $38. Registration deadline is February 19th.

Kids’ Winter Camp

3rd-6th Grade Winter Camp “Angry Lessons From the Bible!” will be February 24-26 at Camp Muskingum. Registration begins this Sunday, January 22nd.

Coffee House

The Young Adult Group will host a “Coffee House” on Friday, February 18th from 7:00-10:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Adults of all ages are invited to come & enjoy specialty coffees & music. There will also be an open mic time where you can share poetry, a short story or music.

Financial Peace University “Beat Debt and Leave a Legacy” Class begins soon!

Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University will walk you through everything you need to know about handling money.  By the end of the class the average family pays off more than $5000 in debt & saves almost $3000. This 14-week class begins Sunday, February 12 at 9:30am. Cost to participate is $100 per household (free for past attendees with their workbook). GRACE GIRLZ WINTER CRAFT FEST Saturday, January 21st, 10am-6pm

Join us as we make new memories while celebrating and preserving our old ones. If you’ve never done a scrapbook page or card, don’t let that keep you away. This will be a great opportunity to try some supplies and learn new techniques. For you seasoned scrappers: Bring all you need to shovel up your memories and pile up your pages. If scrapbooking isn’t your craft, bring quilting, knitting or another favorite craft. Childcare available from 12-4pm; must pre-register. Register at the table in the lobby beginning next Sunday, January 8th.
